I had the wonderful opportunity to be a keynote speaker at Westby Area Middle School & High School to kick off their “kindness week”. It’s a week they talk about diversity and I was honored to be able to speak about My Different Ability®!

I really enjoyed my time speaking to the Middle Schoolers and High Schoolers. To be honest, I was a bit more nervous than normal and that’s because some of my past teachers were in the audience! However, it was the ONLY time I could actually say “I walked in your shoes” as I walked the same halls the students from Westby Middle & High school walk today.
